WHAT DOES THIS WEB BASED PERSONAL MONEY MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE DO

MoneyAllocatoris a revolutionary product for those who hate counting money, making decisions based on "fun" things costing money, and being on top of your finances 24/7. We'll do it for you! We invented a product that works with algorithms and will give you Personalized Advice, while managing your purchases. It is web based, so you can access it from anywhere. It is free and it will remain free. And unlike most of other money management products it does not need any of your sensitive financial information. No credit card information, no social security numbers, no bank account numbers; you may keep you firstborn too and not worry about Big Brother.

ESTIMATES/FINALS/ANALYTICS

Our software is easy. All you need to do is to populate your spreadsheet by inputting your expenses as well as incomes.

Start with your monthly estimates. Click on question marks to the left of each category to see explanations. While populating Estimates page (Estimates page is what you estimate your income as well as spending to be), you will get various on demand pop-ups that will guide you through your selections. Once your Estimates page for a certain month is done, you will either need to wait until the end of the month to populate your Finals (Finals are your actual income and spending), or just add up actual numbers on daily or any other regular basis. Analytics page will give you analysis based on your Finals vs. your Estimates. Please note that this analysis is individual, just for you, based on YOUR pattern.

SAVINGS

Please note that you can create your own Savings Plan if you have any goal in mind. Vacation? New house downpayment? Something else? Just input the target date and MoneyAllocator will calculate how much many you have to save every month to meet your savings goal.

SETTINGS -- SIMPLE AND ADVANCED MODES

Before you start using the software, you need to decide on whether you’ll be using advanced or simple modes. You’ll be able to change modes later on also, but we strongly recommend that you not do so in the middle of the month. Let us explain what Simple and Advanced Modes are. Let's take your Fixed Utilities expenses. Usually this category contains your electric bill, gas bill, phone, and garbage expenses. If you want to see a similar breakdown for all your general expenses (where applicable) -- select Advanced Mode. If you don't need the breakdown and feel comfortable about putting your specific expenses under the general category - select Simple Mode.

POPULATING THE SPREADSHEET

1) You've selected your mode, the next step - starting to populate the spreadsheet. Start with your income, or estimated income. If you don't know your income - input the estimate; you'll be able to change it later, so don't worry if you make a mistake. 2) Start inputting your expenses. Click on the question mark sign before the title of each expense to see its explanation, as well as recommended allowance for this category, based on your income for a given month. 3) If a particular expense will go over the recommended allowance, its title will turn red. Click it to see what you can do about the overage. 4) We assume that not all of the categories on the spreadsheet will be applicable for all households. If particular category is not applicable for you, just click an X button to disable it. Since the allowance for this category will remain disabled - we'll offer you to raise allowances for other categories that you feel might be important and may cause funds overage at their current limit.
